What a personal AI shopper actually does
The phrase gets used loosely. In YoursTruly it means something narrow: gift ideas ranked for one saved person, taken from shops we have a product feed from, with a Buy button that opens the merchant. We do not handle payments.
The profile does half the work
Before you type anything you pick who you are shopping for. Their interests, clothing sizes, age band, and gift preferences shape what comes back, and the same profile drives Explore and search. Ask the same question for two people and you get two different grids.
You can argue with it
Every grid takes correction. Would gift and Not for them are durable signals for that recipient, so a rejected category stops coming back. More like this rebuilds around the card that was nearly right. When your filters leave too little to work with, the app says so and offers to relax one.
Ideas in the app, money at the shop
YoursTruly plans the gift. Buy opens Bol.com, Coolblue, Wehkamp, or another partner, and delivery and support stay with them. Afterwards you can log what you bought, mark it secret, and keep the record on that person profile.
